Vespa Club Ostend is one of the 56 clubs affiliated to Vespa Club Belgium. It is the third largest club in Belgium.
Vespa Club Ostend saw the light of day in 1956. As in many places in Europe, the first Vespa in the mother factory in Pontedera inspired Ostend enthusiasts to gather in a Vespa club. Since the 50's until today, there has been love between Ostend and the Vespa.
Our club grew over the years, then weakened somewhat, with a relative silence in the 80's... and then got off to a slow start again. However, the fire has always continued to smoulder.
Since the late 90's, that fire fanned ever brighter, peaking since 2011. Since then, we welcome between 160 and 200 members every year, which can count for an average city.

Our club’s DNA is marked by innovation, a big variety of initiatives and a supreme club spirit. VCO members are also present at numerous events all over Belgium and abroad. Every club member is particularly proud of Vespa Club Ostend!
Our first major organisation was The Belgian Vespa Days in 2014 when we welcomed over 700 participants. Today, Vespa Club Ostend is writing history with the organisation of the European Vespisti Week in 2026.
